Privacy Policy

1. Summary

AI Terminal is built to be local-first. We aim to collect as little data as possible. Your API keys stay on your device.

2. What We Store Locally

• API keys: Stored locally in macOS Keychain (not in browser storage).
• App settings: Non-secret preferences may be stored locally on your device.

3. What We Do Not Collect by Default

We do not require an account and do not collect your API keys. We do not store your terminal commands on our servers by default.

4. Third-Party AI Providers

If you configure OpenAI, Anthropic, or another endpoint, requests may be sent directly from the App to those providers. The data those providers receive is governed by their own policies.

5. Basic Analytics (If Enabled)

We may include basic, privacy-minded analytics to understand product usage (for example, feature adoption and error rates). If analytics are present, they are designed to avoid collecting sensitive terminal contents and are intended to be minimal.

6. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect data stored by the App on your device. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
